WHAT

5K Run or 1 Mile Walk

WHEN

0715 - 0830 - Bib pick-up. Free shirt for the first 200 people.
0900 - Formal remarks.
0915 - 5K Begins

WHERE

Bib/Shirt Pick-Up: CNIC Building 111, 916 Sicard St. 

Start: Navy Museum on Sicard St.
Finish: Willard Park, by CNIC Bldg 111

Runners will complete three and three quarters laps, while walkers complete one lap. Barriers are set up to guide the route.

WHO

Washington Navy Yard military, government civilians and contractor personnel, local wounded warriors. Must have CAC access to Washington Navy Yard to participate. Personnel must work with their leadership/chain of command to obtain approval to participate in the event occurring during regularly scheduled work hours.

During the event, all roads west of Parsons Ave SE on the Washington Navy Yard will be closed, 0830-1030. Garage 28 will be open for parking prior to the closure, and open for egress after the closure ends. Garages 386 and 405 will have no limitations.
 
For participants who do not regularly report to the Navy Yard: There are reserved parking spaces marked by blue police cones in the lot adjacent to Bldg 111 and Willard Park, outlined by red square in the attached map. You must arrive by 0815 to have access to these spots, as road closures related to the event start at 0830.
